Riga Motor Museum’s goal is to ensure an enjoyable and comfortable museum visit at any time. We care that the museum’s exposition, events and other services are easily available for all museum visitors.
By fulfilling the reconstruction project a special attention is paid to physical accessibility aspects in the building’s interior, as well as different interpretations of the expositions content and accessibility for all audiences.
Car Parking
Located in front of the museum and free of charge our parking offers easy access to the museum. Designated parking spaces are provided for disabled visitors.
Info Centre
Located on the second floor in the entrance area in the Riga Motor Museum’s information centre visitors can purchase entrance tickets, obtain information regarding guided tours, exhibitions, events, services and other relevant information. Here you can also obtain a navigation map available in Latvian, Russian, English, Lithuanian, Estonian and German.
Visitors with physical disabilities
Riga Motor Museum is easily accessible for visitors with physical disabilities. Visitors using wheelchairs can access the museum’s entrance from the car park using a wheelchair ramp. Doors open automatically. All museum floors are accessible using a lift. The second and third floor can be reached using a ramp, appropriate also for wheelchair users.

Restroom
Restrooms are located in the entrance area on the 2nd floor. Wheelchair accessible restrooms are equipped also with baby changing station.
Cloakroom
Located in entrance area on the 2nd floor the cloakroom is available for visitors to leave their coats and other personal belongings in coin-operated lockers.
Children play area
Children play area is intended as a mini museum for visitors with kids under 7 years of age. Its a playful and inspiring environment for learning and leisure. For even more entertainment we offer an outdoor children playground located on the museum's terrace.
Information accessibility
All textual, video and audio information in the exposition is available in Latvian, Russian and English. Digital information is available also in Estonian and Lithuanian.
